Nintendo’s popular shooter Splatoon shall be getting yet another Splatfest event- and this time, the stakes are going to be far higher. Unlike the first three times, where you had to pick teams like Cats and Dogs, Hot Dogs and Marshmallows, or Water Slides and Roller Coasters, this time, you need to cast your light with either the Autobots or the Decepticons from the Transformers franchise, thanks to a collaboration with Hasbro.

The Transformers-themed Splatfest event is scheduled to run starting August 28-29 for 24 hours starting at 9pm PT. Whether or not Europe and Japan will be getting corresponding Splatfest events remains to be seen.

Splatoon is Nintendo’s massively successful third person shooter, that was released exclusively for the Wii U earlier this year. It is also Nintendo’s first internally developed new character led IP in over a decade.
