We earlier reported that the first batch of Steam Greenlight titles were approved and Black Mesa was one of the games that made the cut. Which was a bit unexpected but considering the fan demand Valve did the right thing.
It’s a process where people vote for the games they would like to be on Steam, and Valve approves these games after specific periods. The first approval process of Greenlight was done and the date for second has been announced.
November 30 will be the date when more games will be added to Steam, games that people actually want to play. There will be 10 new games that will make the cut just like last time.
Steam Greenlight is a new platform feature that enlists the community’s help in selecting some of the next games to be released on Steam. Launched on August 30, Greenlight allows developers and publishers to post information and media about their game in an effort to convince Community members that their game should be released on Steam.
