Bandai Namco and Level-5 will be launching Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom, the follow up to the cult favorite PS3 exclusive JRPG from 2013, on PS4 and PC soon. And ahead of the rapidly impending release, they have released a brand new trailer detailing the game’s story and setup.

This new trailer specifically focuses on Prince Evan, the protagonist of the new game, and seems to show mostly story cutscenes- which is why I said, it’s a story trailer. Don’t go into this one expecting much in the way of gameplay footage, because you’re not getting that here. The trailer looks great, as does the game- although, after the original, which I felt was very well made, but terrible to play, I’m a bit wary of getting too hyped for this game until I get to play it for myself.

Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom launches on March 23 for PS4 and PC.
