Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom Goes Gold Ahead of Release Next Month

It's been a long time coming!

At long last, Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom, the eagerly awaited sequel to Bandai Namco and Level-5’s fan favorite PS3 exclusive JRPG from 2013, has gone gold- this means development on the game is now complete, and the master disc has been sent on for pressing for mass production. In turn, this also implies that there will be no more delays from this point on- something that should come as a relief to those looking forward to the game, because it has already seen its fair share of delays since its original announcement.

The announcement was accompanied by a new video for the game, which takes us behind the scenes on its development, and which you can see for yourself below. It talks, among other things, about airships, the game’s battle system (which I sincerely hope performs better than the battle system in Wrath of the White Witch did), and the new Kingdom and Army Battle modes.

Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom launches exclusively on PS4 and PC on March 23.
