Bandai Namco has released a new gameplay video for Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom showcasing the combat in the game. The art style and environments look gorgeous and combat flows very smoothly from what we’ve seen in this video.

As you can see in the new video, the three protagonists take on a number of different enemies, with many being small enemies but then the protagonists also go up against a tougher enemy, a Giant Mushroom. Players can switch between each of the three characters at any time. Finally, we see the protagonists engage in a boss battle with the Jelly Queen. This battle certainly seems significantly difficult with the boss’ health dwindling down at a very slow rate all the while unleashing some deadly attacks on its opponents.

The game’s release date has been delayed more than once but it is now set to release on March 23, 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and PC. You can check out the new gameplay trailer below.
