Ni no Kuni 2 Will Support Dynamic 4K, 60fps, and HDR on PS4 Pro

With its art, this game should end up looking gorgeous.

One of the more anticipated games coming to the PS4 this year, at least among some enthusiast circles, is Level-5 and Bandai Namco’s Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom, the sequel to their flawed, but beloved, PS3 exclusive JRPG. The game is just a little over a month away from release- and we’re getting more and more information about it daily as a result.

For instance, today, it was confirmed that the PS4 version of the game will support 60fps at a dynamic 4K resolution on the PS4 Pro; the game will also support HDR output, which should look marvellous given how gorgeous the art for this game really is. Speaking to WCCFTech, Akihiro Hino, President and CEO of Level-5, confirmed this news.

It’s unclear if these improvements will be on the PC version of the game as well- the resolution and framerate should be, at any rate, it’s the HDR support I’d be more curious about. Ni no Kuni 2 launches on the PS4 and PC on March 23.
