Did you know that you can update the firmware on the 3DS? Me neither.
Nintendo plans to add an incentive for 3DS owners to update their systems next month, by distributing a 3D version of Excitebike free of charge.
Why you need an incentive when the update also includes the eShop and internet browser is beyond me.
Iwata reportedly told investors this morning Nintendo plans to start by releasing Game Boy and Game Boy Colour games on the 3DS shop, but after that it wants to add more classic formats to the service. Let’s hope that means GBA and SNES games.
