Nintendo is undercutting Gamestop by selling refurbished portables at a lower cost. You can buy DS and 3DS consoles from their website directly.

The great thing about this is you will also get a 1 year warranty by buying from Nintendo. Great deal? This is much better than what you can get from Gamestop who normally charge $159.99 for refurbished portables.

At least that’s the price I think, and Nintendo is offering them for $99. The consoles have minor blemishes but they are basically tested by Nintendo “cleaned, tested, and inspected to meet Nintendo’s high standards”.

Well it’s not clear if they ship them outside North America but they it could be only regional based for now in order to stop people from buying en masse and avoiding cost in their respective countries.

Thanks, Siliconera.
