Nintendo is one of the “Companies Where Employees Are Losing Hope”

Posted By | On 22nd, Sep. 2011

Investor and financial site 247WallSt compiled a list of eight gaming companies where employees are “losing hope.” Surprisingly, Nintendo was one of those companies.

With Nintendo’s once pre-dominant lead falling in the console sector and the competition from Microsoft and Sony getting stiffer, and handheld products like Android, iPad and iPod eating up a lot of their handheld market share, the site believes Nintendo’s “future is grim.”

They quoted the falling sales of the handhelds and consoles, the falling stocks of the company, and how the 3DS will have sold only 70 million units by 2015… wait, that’s a bad thing?

These days have been pretty murky for Nintendo, admittedly. The 3DS did not have a very successful launch, and if the reports are anything to go by, the Wii U is in development hell. However, with the newfound, crazy boost for the 3DS’ sales, I don’t think their future will be “murky.”

Stay tuned for more info.
