The Nintendo Labo, Nintendo’s new DIY initiative that is presumably aimed at the children and education market, launches today. It’s a starkly new concept, aimed at using the unique hardware of the Switch in new ways, and expand the scope of applications of gaming technology beyond just entertainment. If pulled off well, this could end up being a pretty big deal.

And to market it, Nintendo has brought on board literally the best person they could have brought on board for something like this- Bill Nye the Science Guy, the popular and beloved science personality, is in Labo commercials. That’s the kind of thing that will make parents want to go out and grab a Switch and a Labo kit for their kids.

You can check out the new trailer for Labo for yourself below. It launches today, in two “Toy Con” configurations, and is available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
