With the Nintendo Switch just weeks away from release, there are a couple of features that the company is especially excited to show off to the general public. Players have been talking an awful lot about certain features as well, including the virtual console. In a recent interview with The Telegraph, Nintendo general manager Shinya Takahasi and designer Yoshiaki Koizumi talked a bit more about the console.

In particular, the company made it clear they’re not real worried about the relatively small launch lineup. Takahasi addressed the launch lineup issues by saying the company is confident that it will have a great lineup all throughout the year. “This time we feel we’ve launched a system that has great games at launch in Zelda and 1-2-Switch but also a very strong lineup through the end of the year as well.”

Nintendo also said they have high hopes for the online service as being something that can integrate with both the Switch and smart devices. “Yes, we like to think as Switch as working very well together with smartphones so we’re basing quite a few plans surrounding that,” Koizumi stated.
