Nintendo NX Announcement Coming In October – Analyst

Things got moved around a bit.

Remember how the Nintendo NX was originally supposed to be revealed some time this month (which would give Nintendo just enough time to kick the hype up and keep it going through to its purported March 2017 worldwide release date)? Well, now it looks like plans may have changed a bit at the last moment- the Wall Street Journal is reporting that according to a fair few analysts, Nintendo’s current plans are to reveal the NX in October.

This is going to be a fair bit disappointing to the scores of Nintendo fans who were eagerly hoping for an NX reveal announcement slated for September, which is what we had all been led up to believe until now- it also means the NX’s marketing and hype strategy may end up being a bit more accelerated than it would have been had the product been announced in September.

All said and done, this is no more or less than speculation- when Nintendo chooses to announce the NX, ultimately, no one knows. We just hope it’s soon, if for no other reason than to kill all the speculation and rumors.
