We still don’t know when Nintendo plan on sharing any information with us about the NX, their mysterious new system that is set for release in March next year. It was withheld from E3 this year (Nintendo opting to focus on just The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild), with Nintendo stating they would take the wraps off of the system at their own event later this year- but what event, and when?
The when is something we may finally be getting an answer to. Speaking in an interview, Nintendo of Canada GM Pierre-Paul Trepanier said, “We decided to focus on Zelda [at E3]. We’ll talk about the NX this Fall. At that time, it will be 100% NX.”
This finally gives us a window as to when to expect an NX announcement- so far, the window has been as vast as the rest of this year, but now it sounds as though Nintendo intends to unveil the system come September or October.
Let’s see what they have waiting for us after such a long wait.
