Nintendo Switch eShop Gets New Section Highlighting Games On Sale

That's a good addition, but there's still quite a few more things left to add.

The Nintendo Switch eShop is a treasure trove of great games- just a half year after the system launched, there are already over 200 titles to dig through on there, with dozens released every week. This great and vibrant library owes itself mostly to the fantastic support the system has received from indie games.

However, for as great as the library is, the eShop storefront itself has been shockingly… barely there? There’s a list of games for you to peruse, a search function to try and organize what you see, and a wish list, as well as a bestsellers list, but that’s really it.

Now, a new feature has been added to the eShop which should go down well with a lot of its users. The eShop now has a section specifically to highlight the games on sale- which budge minded gamers (or simply players who would appreciate some financial respite given the pace of Switch releases) should like.

Hopefully, Nintendo continues building up the eShop in the coming weeks and months. There’s still a lot of work to be done.
