Nintendo Switch Is Back In Stock Today

Because Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is coming.

Tomorrow, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe launches, and it is likely to be one of the biggest drivers of hardware sales for the already successful Nintendo Switch that there will be. Nintendo is making sure that more people can get their hands on the game, and on the system should they want the game, by ensuring that the system will be in stock ahead of tomorrow’s launch.

The system is available today all across North America- at the very least, it seems to be in stock at GameStop and Amazon, so you may want to check those if you want your hands on Nintendo’s hot new commodity.

Eric Bright, senior director of merchandising for GameStop, said:“It’s perfect timing to have additional Nintendo Switch units arrive just days before the launch of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, one of the biggest and most loved games from Nintendo. This is truly an amazing pairing of the latest in Nintendo technology innovation with a classic, iconic game.”

“If Nintendo Switch and/or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is on a customer’s gaming wish list, I would strongly suggest they plan to come to our stores as soon as they can. These products will not last through the weekend!”

While this is blatantly a ploy to drive sales by implying that the system will be sold out, the sad part is it is also true- if Switch sales so far are any indication, then it will be sold out pretty damn soon again. Best get to it as soon as you can if you are interested.
