Nintendo Switch Launches On March 3 2017, Will Cost $299

For ¥30,000 in Japan.

Posted By | On 13th, Jan. 2017

Nintendo have started their online conference for the Switch system today, confirming that the Switch will be launching on March 3, 2017 in North America, Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, and other territories. This is actually far earlier than anticipated, since the leaks all pointed to March 17 as the release date. This will also be the first Nintendo system ever to launch worldwide simultaneously.

The Switch will sell for $299 in the US, ¥30,000 in Japan, and at prices suggested by retailers in Europe. This is actually at the higher end, since most rumors pointed at a launch price of $249 at most. As of right now, it is unclear what will actually be included in the box- if there is a game included, for instance, this would be a far more acceptable price.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt, and we will keep you posted on all the information from this Switch conference right as it comes.
