Nintendo Switch Will Be Playable In Six Major North American Cities In 2017

Brace yourselves...

Ahead of its release in March 2017, Nintendo will be taking the Nintendo Switch on tour across all of North America. The Switch will be playable in six major metropolises in North America starting January, and all the way through to March, presumably leading right into the system’s launch.

The Switch will be playable in each city over a specific weekend, for three days each- the first two days will actually be reserved for people with invites, while the last day will open up to the general public. That said, given the general hysteria around Nintendo events, it will probably still be best to either get an invite or to get to the public showing as soon as you can, because entry will be first come, first serve.

You can find the cities the Switch will be coming to, including the dates, below. Nintendo has said that ore details will be announced at a later date.

  • New York City, NY – Jan. 13-15
  • Toronto, Canada – Jan. 27-29
  • Washington, D.C. – Feb. 10-12
  • Chicago, IL – Feb. 17-19
  • San Francisco, CA – Feb. 24-26
  • Los Angeles, CA – March 3-5
