Nintendo Will Get Back In The Race With Nintendo NX- Ubisoft CEO

Man, he's really a big fan of the Nintendo NX, isn't he?

On the whole, it sounds like third parties are positive on the Nintendo NX (which, incidentally, makes for a welcome change from the Wii U days, when they were openly contemptuous of what Nintendo was peddling). So far, we have had Warner Bros., Bethesda, CD Projekt RED, Take Two, Koei Tecmo, Level-5, Square Enix, Sega, and a vast swathe of indie game developers all speak out in support of the console.

But no one has been as outspoken and open with showering Nintendo’s upcoming system with love as Ubisoft- they have already expressed enthusiasm for the system multiple times, stating that it will recapture the larger market that Nintendo used to hold with the Wii, and that it is something completely new and different. And now, it seems as though Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot had more kind words to say about the NX at the Shareholder’s Meeting that Ubisoft held yesterday.

“Nintendo will come back into the race with the NX,” Guillemot enthused about the system, reports Chloé Woitier (translation by Nintendo Life).

It really sounds like Ubisoft believes in what Nintendo is selling with the NX- but whether or not their confidence is unfounded is not something we can say until we actually get to see the NX for ourselves. Hopefully, Nintendo reveal it some time soon, now.
