The Summer season is here, and Nintendo has a new set of commercials to hawk its wares to customers for the next few months. Two new ads, one each for the Switch and 3DS, are now out. Nintendo seems to be banking on the appeal of the portability of its systems during the Summer season (especially as many head out to Holidays and vacation), with the Switch’s ads targeting an “everyone plays together” angle, while the 3DS ads seem more geared towards showcasing how the platform is better suited for younger gamers- which seems to be the reason Nintendo is keeping the 3DS around at all for now.

You can check out both commercials for yourself below. With the next few months about to get busy for Nintendo platforms- among other games, Ys 8, The World Ends With You, Dark Souls Remastered, Sushi Strikers, Mario Tennis Aces, Octopath Traveler, Captain Toad, and Hyrule Warriors are slated to launch for Switch and/or 3DS- it will be interesting to see how Nintendo alters its ads going forward.
