Earlier in the year, you no doubt noticed Nintendo’s Satoru Iwata come under fire for the disappointing performance of the Wii U and a general decline in popularity. Then he had to take on less work due to his health concerns over a tumour in his bile duct which lead to the legendary Co-Chief Executive having surgery to remove it.

Well he’s come back to us, healthier than ever and a little bit lighter if what he says is to be believed. Not only content with coming back and announcing that he will resuming his regular working requirements, he followed this up by delivering the quarterly profits which show a surprisingly positive turn with sales rising across the board in regards to both hardware and software.

You know what they say about good news, it helps the healing process. This was quite a little bit of a feel good news segment wasn’t it? Rock on Iwata, stay awesome.
