nioh 2

We’ll be starting off the next year with plenty of ghosts and demons to slay in Nioh 2. The action RPG will continue from the last game, which was a surprise hit for Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo. This time around it looks like the game is bringing a little more of everything, including bosses. The company has been releasing a ton of screenshots showing off the game, but today we got a look at one of the bosses, and she (it…?) is sure something.

You can see the video from PlayStation Access below. In the nearly 20 minute video, we see a playthrough of fighting through some regular monsters and a village setting (as well as some death, which you likely will be seeing a lot as you play this one) until finally getting to the Kasha fight. She seems to be a hybrid between a woman and a cat and a…cart, I guess. It’s a pretty wild design. Check it out to get a good idea of how the game will play.

Nioh 2 will release sometime in early 2020 for the PlayStation 4. There will also be an open beta starting November 1st, which you can read more about through here.
