The final bit of DLC for Nioh will be Bloodshed’s End, launching next week, on September 26- and ahead of its release, Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have released some brand new screenshots, to whet our appetites, and also to show us what we can expect from the expansion once it is out.

These new screenshots, which you can see below, show us new characters, new Yokai, new Guardian Spirits, new locations, and more. The DLC will also include a brand new difficulty mode, as well a brand new mode called The Abyss- but of course, we don’t get to see much of those two in static screens, after all.

Nioh: Bloodshed’s End marks the end of the post launch support, and presumably, the ongoing narrative of the game, for now. Maybe a Nioh 2 will launch in the future that will continue from where this game leaves off. Nioh is out now exclusively on the PS4.
