Nioh Looks Pretty Neat In This New Gameplay Footage

A whole lot of changes from the alpha.

Nioh

At E3 2016, we get new footage and trailers for just about all games. That includes Nioh, the highly anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive action game by Koei Tecmo that is due to launch later this year in Japan. After a great E3 trailer, we now get to see more of the game itself in action, thanks to these six minutes of gameplay footage.

Graphically, the game still looks rough, but if you can look past that and pay attention to the game itself, you’ll start noticing some interesting details, including a new quick select system for weapons, which seems to be different from what we had in the alpha, as well as dual wielding (which looks as badass as you would expect).

You can check out this new footage below. It also seems like weapon durability has been removed, though I’ll let someone else who’s more familiar with the game and its systems confirm that for me. Nioh will launch only on PS4 later this year.
