No Man’s Sky is the kind of game that a studio only makes once in its entire existence- a game that is literally an entire universe unto itself. But with the game now being out, it seems like developers Hello Games aren’t even allowing themselves a while to rest on their laurels- it sounds like they may already be at work on their next game.

Speaking on Reddit during an AMA, Hello Games’ Sean Murray discussed the next project that the studio is already working on, admitting that it is not quite as big a game as No Man’s Sky is, and that it is actually fairly experimental, and expressing hopes that players will like it nonetheless. He also said that Hello Games will look at supporting No Man’s Sky entirely for the time being, but that eventually, he hopes they move on to a newer project.

No Man’s Sky is available now on PS4. A PC version of the game will be launching later this week.
