Oddworld is a series that can be difficult to pin down. It’s been through multiple different incarnations and has sort of ebbed and flowed in and out of the gaming world with various generations. A reinvention is coming that will take the series back to its roots with Oddworld: Soulstorm, and today we got a brief (very brief) teaser for the upcoming game.

The teaser, dubbed “Just a Peek in the Dark,” is little more than Abe, one of the series main protagonists, walking down a very dark tunnel or cave of some kind. The light fades in and out and we hear some godawful noise, something that is left to our imaginations as to what it could possibly be before going completely black. Check it out below.

Oddworld: Soulstorm will release for PC and as of now undefined console platforms sometime in 2020. You can get the lowdown on the game through the franchise’s creator in our interview with Lorne Lanning through here.
