Old School FPS STRAFE Gets Launch Trailer

First person roguelike.

Devolver Digital will be putting out their old school first person shooter, STRAFE, on PS4 and PC next week- and ahead of that launch, they have gone ahead and shared a brand new launch trailer for the game, showcasing its extremely speedy gameplay.

STRAFE is an FPS roguelike, meaning that its levels and enemies are procedurally generated each time, and the game relies on the player’s mastery of the mechanics, rather than their memorization of the level layouts, for them to do well. A side effect of this procedural generation is that there are almost no load times whatsoever.

The game has four zones, each with four levels (and each zone is supposed to be unique); there are also more than 30 weapons, further customizable by loads of upgrades. All in all, it seems to be a great game. You can check out the trailer below, and be sure to stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage.
