Pitched as “One of the biggest open worlds ever made in a racing game”, Deep Silver and BigMoon Entertainment have announced Dakar 18, an off-road racing simulation title coming to PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One sometime this year.

Based on the cross country rally of the same name, Dakar 18 is said to be a realistic simulation with a huge open world. The official license is of course involved, allowing Deep Silver to include major Dakar teams, pilots, all five racing classes and the vehicles for them including Bikes, Quads, Trucks and SxS, in addition to Cars.

A single player mode is set to feature alongside some robust multiplayer, letting you experience the title with friends whether online or offline. You can check out the trailer just below. Are you looking forward to some off road action when Dakar 18 launches later in 2018? Let us know in the comments.
