Outlast 2, is going to be launching on the PlayStation 4 Xbox One and PC simultaneously, meaning no arduous waits to get your survival horror fix. Red Barrels CEO, Phillippe Morin said, “Outlast #1 was released on one platform at a time because we had to create our pipeline.
“Now that our pipeline is in place, we should be able to release Outlast #2 on PS4, XB1 and PC at the same time. ”
Set to include a new roster of characters and take place in an entirely new location, I can’t wait to sink into survival mode again after the disappointment that was The Evil Within .
Serving as the sequel to the absolutely horrifying first person terror-fest, Outlast, the game launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC in a staggered release but still managed to blow the minds of players with its blunt take on raw survival horror gameplay. Having it available to everyone at the same time, is definitely a good thing!
