Open-world fantasy RPG Outward: Definitive Edition is out now on the Nintendo Switch. The RPG’s release on Nintendo’s platform is being celebrated with a new trailer that you can check out below.

The Definitive Edition of Outward was originally released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S in 2022. It features numerous improvements over the base game, including deeper integration of elemets from DLCs The Soroboreans and The Three Brothers.

Players are put into the shoes of ordinary adventurers that are thrown into a magical world where they will have to figure out how to survive against threatening creatures and hazardous environmental conditions.

Outward: Definitive Edition encourages players to come up with their own unique solutions to problems they might face in the game by making use of the numerous tools and items available to them. The game can also be played in local and online co-op with up to one other player.

A sequel, appropriately titled Outward 2, is currently in the works, and will be coming to PC and consoles.
