Ouya is the size of a Rubik’s Cube

According to Ouya designer Yves Béhar, the Android console will be about the same size as a Rubik’s Cube.

Speaking in a Q&A session over on Kotaku, Béhar stated Ouya’s dimensions, its size suggested an intentional degree of mobility: “Our console is quite small, around the size of a Rubik’s cube, and so it will easily fit anywhere in a room, or be easy to throw in a backpack.”

It’d be interesting to see how a console of such small size can exist, but given the relatively low system specifications it might not be so surprising after all.

With around two weeks left, the Ouya kickstarter is sitting comfortably at the $5.4m mark.
