The golden horse’s campaign of terror hasn’t ended yet in Blizzard’s Overwatch 2, but it’s somewhat curtailed thanks to the latest patch. Tank hero Orisa has seen key survival skills, Fortify and Javelin Spin, the former having a duration of 3.5 seconds from 4.5 (and 20 percent slower movement speed) while the latter’s cooldown has increased to nine seconds from seven.
To further help against the survival of some Tank and Support heroes, attacks from Damage dealers now reduce the amount of passive healing from 15 to 20 percent. Those frustrated with Venture should also note that SMART Excavator’s max explosion damage is reduced from 45 to 40.
Drill Dash’s impact damage is now 30 instead of 40, which should help prevent their near-instant one-shot combos. Their Ultimate, Tectonic Shock, also has a 10 percent increased cost. In terms of bug fixes, if someone is using Streamer Mode, you’ll no longer see their real name upon blocking them. Check out the full patch notes below for more details.
