War of the Vikings

Paradox Interactive has announced the release date for its upcoming Fatshark developed medieval squad combat title War of the Vikings. Players will be able to pick up the game on April 15th.

Gordon Van Dyke, who’s working on the game as the Executive Producer, will also be holding a live stream of the game on Twitch tonight, so you can check it out and judge for yourself if the game interests you enough to warrant a purchase. The stream is provided here.

War of the Vikings is a follow up to War of the Roses and will see players taking control of either the Englishmen or the Norsemen. You can choose to either defend Britain or attempt to annex it. The game focuses on close quarters combat and will boast of features such as 64 player battles and “extensive” weaponry customization.
