DLC for the heist action game Payday 2 will now also be coming to consoles, 505 Games has announced. The first DLC pack includes Armored Transport DLC and two Gage Weapon drops, and is out on Xbox 360 ad PlayStation 3 soon. Players will also have the choice of buying Swag Bag #1, which contains all three DLC packs at a discounted price.
The DLC includes the aforementioned Armored Truck DLC, which lets up to four players rob armored transports full of valuables, in Washington D.C., in broad daylight; and two Greg Weapon packs, which include three Light Machine Guns and four knives added to the player’s arsenal. Four new masks from Gage’s collection have been added, as well as new patterns and materials.
Payday 2 was released last year on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. The PC version has gotten an almost constant stream of post launch support, although the console versions have not. This new batch of DLC should hopefully change that and reverse that trend.
