505 Games and Overkill Software, part of Starbreeze Studios, has officially announced the launch of first person shooter PayDay 2 for PC, with releases for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 to follow in the next few days.
Centered on heists, PayDay 2 allows up to 4 players to participate cooperatively in more than 20 missions to liberate various establishments of their cash reserves. Players will be able to choose from 4 new and varied skill trees – Mastermind, Enforcer, Technician and Ghost – and earn gold to purchase new weapons and mods. Let’s not forget the ability to craft your own masks.
PayDay 2 is currently available on PC via Steam for £24.99. It will release for PSN on August 14th for £29.99 and on August 16th for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 at £29.99.
