Payday 2: The Death Wish Launches Today

Extensive free DLC for Payday 2 goes live today.

Payday 2: The Death Wish is the second update launching for the title, and it goes live on Steam today, February 27.

Death Wish unlocks a new difficulty level, the titular Death Wish mode, and it unlocks four additional masks in addition to two new enemy types, a new melee weapons, and thirty five new achievements.

Death Wish difficulty can be applied to every single heist, and it can alter any given heist in a variety of unpredictable and random ways- a bridge that was whole (and used for escape), might be gone, just as one example.

This update is completely free (this is how you handle post game content, developers), and more importantly, all Payday 2 DLC is now available at 50% off for the rest of the week, so now’s probably your chance to return to the game if you have it but have not played it in a while.
