We’ve been hearing consistent rumours of announcements for new upcoming Persona games for some time now, with the likes of a Persona 5 spinoff, a remake of Persona 3and of course, Persona 6 itself all having been mentioned, and it seems that isn’t going to slow down anytime soon.

For starters, a new Persona 5 spinoff allegedly titled Persona 5 T will be unveiled soon, though what exactly that “T” stands for is unknown. Not too long ago the p5t.jp domain name was registered by Atlus, and more recently, the domain was updated and was moved to the company’s owned nameservers.

As Persona Central reports, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened for the franchise. Similar domain registrations were spotted prior to official announcements, for previous titles like Persona Q2, Persona 5 Royal, and more, and after similar updates that saw them being moved to Atlus’ owned nameservers, all of those games were announced within two weeks.

Interestingly enough, prominent Persona dataminer and leaker @regularpanties has also taken to Twitter to tease other brief details on the title, with is allegedly not going to be a fighting game similar to Persona 4 Arena (which is what many had speculated), or even the Goro Akechi-starring spinoff that was rumoured to be in development a while back.

The leaker also goes on to say that that Persona 5 T and the rumoured remake of Persona 3 are both set to be announced “soon”, though there isn’t much clarity on exactly how soon that will be, or if the two will even be announced together. Leaks have claimed that the Persona 3 remake will be announced at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 11, though Summer Game Fest on June 8 could also be an appropriate setting for one of these announcements, if they are indeed going to be made soon.

Finally, the leaker claims that Atlus is going to continue to release its titles as multiplatform games, which is an initiative the company has adopted with many of its recent releases. Whether that applies to all upcoming Persona games or just some of them in particular remains to be seen. It has been claimed in recent reports that Persona 6 could possibly release as a PS5 exclusive, similar to past mainline instalments.
