One aspect of Persona 5 Royal that will be very familiar to old fans is Mementos. The sprawling labyrinth was a constant presence in the original game, and it’ll be just as dark and sprawling in the enhanced re-release. It’ll also have some new additions, which includes a brand new character.
Mementos this time around will have floors that are darker with rarer and stronger enemies in random floors (you can read more about that through here). Interestingly, it will also host a new character named Jose. He patrols Mementos in a dune buggy and will help you restock items between floors, and has an obsession with stamps. He’s a mysterious character who, undoubtedly, has more to him than it seems. You can see both videos below (thanks to Twinfinite for translations).
