Taking everyone's hearts worldwide.

Posted By | On 26th, Jul. 2017

Persona 5 is one of the best games of the year, and also one of the best games ever made. And it is also seeing sales that befit a game of its quality, finally breaking the Persona series out of the niche it has occupied ever since its inception 20 years ago.

Shortly after the game was released, Atlus and Sega shared that the game had shipped 1.5 million units worldwide; today, they have an update, and they are confirming that Persona 5 has shipped 1.8 million units worldwide. This makes Persona 5 the highest selling game in the series (Persona 4 was previously the record holder with 1.6 million units sold, though it managed those sales across Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden, and over many years).

Persona 5 is available now on PS3 and PS4- and if you haven’t already played the game, now would be a great time for you to change that, because it is absolutely fantastic. It will truly take your heart.
