Persona 5 Review: EDGE Scores It Lower Than Persona 4: Golden

Time for an all-out attack!

Persona 5 is finally almost here. After years of delays, it is not just a week or so away from official launch in the western markets. Several media outlets have already started coming out with their reviews for the highly anticipated JRPG. Gaming magazine EDGE is among them, and they’ve given the game a pretty solid score of 8/10 in their review.

In contrast, EDGE gave both versions of Persona 4, the base version as well as Persona 4 Golden for the PS Vita, a 9/10, which means that Persona 5 has scored lower than them. Persona 3, meanwhile, got a score of 7/10 from them when it first came out. Persona 5 has been getting some pretty solid initial reviews, which is to be expected given the great scores it received in Japan upon release in that region last year.

UK gaming magazine GamesMaster recently awarded the game a 9.5/10, calling it better than Final Fantasy XV. Our very own review of Persona 5 will be going up in the coming days, so stay tuned to GamingBolt to read our impressions.
