So much Persona 5 news and information came out today, but the one thing that probably excited more than anything else is the one that, paradoxically enough, isn’t even part of the game proper- it’s the reveal of the full intro movie for the game, complete with a full vocal version of the game’s main theme.

Most of this is footage you had already seen before- it has been spliced and put into multiple trailers over the last year and a half. Still, seeing it all come together, in this game’s distinct visual style and art, is really something. It really sets this game apart from its predecessors as its own thing. It also helps that the theme song for Persona 5 is definitely the best that this series has had yet.

Persona 5 is due out on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on September 15 this year in Japan, February 14 next year in North America, and then some time later in 2017 courtesy of Deep Silver.
