Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth’s Newest Trailer Shows Us The Adorable Koromaru

Atlus is, amusingly enough, keeping the voice artist for Koromaru a secret.

In the vein of several other character introduction video trailers that Atlus has released for the upcoming Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth, the newest one introduces us to Koromaru, the adorable canine companion who joins SEES in their fight against the Shadows in Persona 3, looking even cuter thanks to the game’s endearing chibi art style.

Persona 3 came out before Persona went full anime, so Koromaru doesn’t actually talk, unlike, say, Morgana, the cat from Persona 5, who does. He just growls, barks, yelps, and woofs, which in my opinion makes him cuter. That said, Persona was still pretty anime back then, so he has his own Persona, that he uses to fight with in battles.

Although we have received over a dozen of these character focused trailers so far, there’s still a fair few left, since Persona Q2 brings together the full casts of Persona 3, Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4, and Persona 5. If your favorite character hasn’t received a trailer already (mine hasn’t…), then don’t worry, it’s probably coming soon.

Persona Q2 launches for Nintendo 3DS on November 28 in Japan. A western release hasn’t yet been confirmed.
