Because Atlus loves my pain and suffering, the newest character introduction video for Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth they have put out focuses on Kanji Tatsumi from Persona 4. I’m only joking, I actually really like Kanji, he’s one of my favorite characters from the whole franchise.

Kanji, as I’m sure you remember, is a part of the Investigation Team in Persona 4. He’s actually a super sensitive boy who’s misunderstood and perceived as a delinquent bully by everyone around him, apart from struggling with his own sexuality. In terms of battle, he has a Persona that can dish out punishment via strong physical and electric attacks.

We get to see glimpses of his character (including interactions with other characters), as well as how he will perform in battle, in this new character introduction video, that you can see for yourself below. I can’t wait to see Kanji and Ryuji go at it, personally speaking.

Persona Q2 is due out on Nintendo 3DS on November 28 in Japan, with no Western release date currently provided.
