This is something that should have happened a long time back. Some guy has created a petition to convince the dev team of FIFA 14 to add women to the game.
The goal is 12,453 signatures and hasn’t been met yet.
“By offering just men’s teams as playable options on FIFA we’re not only denying these girls a chance to relate to the characters they play on a videogame, but we’re also wasting a great opportunity to encourage those same girls to be who they are, develop their passion, motivation and promote a healthy image and relation between women and sports,” the petition reads.
This is a good initiative and hopefully the devs listen and implement this. You can go support it here, the goal isn’t that high and will be met easily.
