Phantasmal City of Darkness

Procedurally generated horror game Phantasmal: City of Darkness, which began as a Kickstarter game and launched for PC on April 30th, will be heading to the Xbox One. A new trailer for the Xbox One version was released and truth be told, it’s quite scary. Check it out below.

Phantasmal’s procedural generation ensures that each playthrough is different as you explore a mansion with varying walls, floors, ceilings and even furniture. The combat is pretty straightforward and you’ll need to use whatever you find as a weapon. Alternatively, you can sneak past enemies but you’ll have to do it carefully. Use your torch too often and enemies may catch on to you. And really, judging by the enemies you’re dealing with, that’s the least ideal situation.

Phantasmal: City of Darkness currently has no release date for the Xbox One so stay tuned for more information on the same. Meanwhile, let us know what you think of the trailer in the comments below.
