Nintendo showed a video of Platinum Games discussing the development of Bayonetta 2 during its Nintendo Direct presentation that was held a few hours back. The video is pretty short, but there’s some info in there, so you wanna give it a try. We’ve posted it above for your viewing pleasure.

Platinum says that Bayonetta 2 is basically focusing on expanding what Bayonetta 1 was about and making it feel much more epic.

“We established what Bayonetta is all about in the first game. Now we are thinking about interesting new ideas to expand upon the essence of Bayonetta,” Platinum says in the video.

The developer adds: “The scale of the game is completely different this time, so it feels like you are fighting the last boss from the very beginning.”

Just show us some footage already, you sadists!
