The PlayStation Blog is a great thing, as it helps PlayStation executives to stay in touch with their community and fanbase directly, and foster a culture of open communication and earnest honesty. So it’s actually surprising to know that so far, it has not existed in Japan at all- as it turns out, until now, Playstation Japan has opted to communicate with its community through the PlayCommu website and blog.

However, that finally changed today, as today, the Japanese PlayStation Blog finally went up. Although it is absolutely pointless to us as, it is still good news for Japanese PlayStation fans, as they can now expect the same kind of open and frank communication that we in the rest of the world are already used to.

It’s similar in style and tone to the PlayStation Blog we are all used to, though of course, there are region specific differences, especially when it comes to the content.
