PlayStation TV is one of those strange little devices that comes along every now and again. Today, Sony confirmed that users of the new device will be able to make use of the PlayStation Now service.

Sony’s newest little toy is an odd little gadget that allows you to stream your PlayStation 4 games and PS Vita Vita games to wherever the device is located. It also makes use of the DualShock 3 and DualShock 4 controllers in place of the touch panel on the Vita’s rear.

The beta for the PlayStation Now service starts today as a matter of fact, so try and get in if you’re interested in wireless content streaming. The box itself launches on October 14th in North America while Europe and other regions will get it in the following months. What are your thoughts on PlayStation TV and does it seem like a viable solution for PlayStation Now streaming? Let us know in the comments.
