The Nintendo Direct a couple of days ago shed a ton of information about what we can expect from the upcoming Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon games. These games were announced as coming later this year and have plenty of fans plenty excited about their eventual launch date. The new games weren’t the only pieces of info that were released during the media event.

One of the interesting features of the new game that was announced is a new function called the Pokemon Bank. This bank feature will allow players of Pokemon Red, Pokemon Blue and Pokemon Yellow to transfer any creatures they captured in those games to the newest one. Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow are all out on the market on Saturday, which will give players a few months of running around and gathering up their fighters before the Sun and Moon games are available to all Nintendo DS users.

Nintendo has tried to make it that much more attractive to purchase the new versions of the long running series by offering a ton of bundles to fans. Nintendo is releasing a new bundle that have Pokemon Red, Yellow and Blue all preinstalled. The North American version of the bundle will also have two different cover plates that have Blastoise evolution of Wartortle and the other will have Charizard. It also includes a download code for a new Pokemon menu theme.
