Earlier this year, The Pokemon Company confirmed that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet would be getting new content in 2023 in the form of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, an expansion that is set to launch in two parts in the latter months of the year. At the recent Nintendo Direction, we got another look at the new content it will bring.
The first part of the expansion, The Teal Mask, will be set in a festival area in the countryside, while the second part, The Indigo Disk, will take players to a completely new location, which will also feature a futuristic academy. The trailer offers a look at both areas, while also offering glimpses of some of the Pokemon and characters you’ll be running into in the expansions. Check it out below.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero – Part 1: The Teal Mask will launch sometime in this Fall, while Part 2: The Indigo Disk will follow sometime this Winter. More details on the expansion’s contents will be shared “at a later date”, according to Nintendo.
