Pokemon Sun and Moon 3

Man, May is becoming thick with reveals of upcoming games, isn’t it? Just this last week, we already got information on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Persona 5, with information on Battlefield 5 (er, Battlefield 1) coming later today. And now, Nintendo’s Pokemon Sun and Moon have joined that list, too, as GameFreak’s Junichi Masuda confirmed in a Twitter post that the studio will discuss this year’s entries in the series at 21:00 PM JST (5:00 AM PT).

Currently, nothing is known about these games, beyond the fact that they exist, are for the Nintendo 3DS line of systems, and that they will be coming later this year worldwide. This new information dump hopefully sheds some light on what to expect from these games, including maybe our first look at some of the new Pokemon, as well as the region that the games will be taking place in.

Pokemon Sun and Moon will be launching on the Nintendo 3DS exclusively later this year.
